For several years I have struggled with a daily drawing/journaling practice that I enjoyed. Most daily drawing practices are either very simple like doodling or very complex drawings that are meant to be reiterated on for hours to days. Journaling was the same. You either were “bullet journaling” or writing a novel.
Thankfully, I found a practice created by Samantha Dion Baker @sdionbakerdesign that was that right middle ground for me. She has a book featured on the practice called “Draw Your Day.”
I went back and documented my trip to Amsterdam back in August. It was my first international trip so I wanted to document it in this way before I moved on to my day-to-day practice.
I have a couple of additional spreads featuring my 31st Birthday in 2019 and a bookstore called “Bookery” in Manchester, New Hampshire.
