My work has been evolving for as long as I have been evolving. I always keep finding new inspiration in unexpected places and I find different things to challenge myself with. 

In the past couple of years I have primarily focused on oil paint portraits, custom hand-painted shoes, and drawn portraits. The custom shoes are my most popular works. I do really enjoy the challenge of doing portraits though. Portraits will always be a challenge. I also love working in oil paints because oil paints are patient with me, so I am patient with them. 

I enjoy making artwork for myself and for other people. What makes me happy is fulfilling a vision for someone else when I work on commissioned projects. It's really gratifying when you're able to take someone's idea and go far beyond their expectations and really create a vision - a piece of artwork - that they enjoy. 

I also like doing projects for myself. I do this because I typically select portraits or subject matter that intimidates me, so it automatically challenges me to be a better artist. 

I get asked sometimes about what my main goal is for my work and I know goals are usually focused on ideas of growth and expansion, especially in a monetary sense. While I deserve to be compensated for my hard work, my main goal is to create work that brings people a ray of joy and happiness into their lives. 

Art is also a way for me to constantly discover who I am. It is a means of exploring my internal growth as a human being and how I connect with the world.
